Each shot blends moody lighting with vintage aesthetics, showcasing evocative color palettes of deep crimson and sultry blacks. The setting—featuring old televisions, retro textures, and intimate spaces—invites the viewer into a dreamlike narrative of solitude, glamour, and introspection.
Through dramatic angles and atmospheric shadows, this project explores the timeless elegance of qipao silhouettes, framed against an urban backdrop reminiscent of 1960s Hong Kong. Each frame tells a story of yearning and resilience, balancing modern visuals with a retro sensibility.
